We invest exclusively in AI. That comes with responsibility — to the founders we back, the users they serve, and the world we're shaping together.
AI is the most consequential technology of our generation. Building it responsibly isn't a tradeoff against returns — over the long run, it's the only way to compound trust, talent, and capital.
How we evaluate AI investments and engage with our portfolio.
We expect our portfolio companies to ship AI systems with robust safety evaluations, red-team testing, and clear escalation paths for misuse.
Founders should be honest about what their AI can and cannot do. We push back against marketing claims that misrepresent model capabilities.
For high-stakes decisions — healthcare, finance, hiring — we believe a human should remain in the loop. We won't fund autonomous systems in domains where errors are irreversible.
We don't invest in surveillance technology, autonomous weapons, or AI products designed to manipulate users. We assess every deal against this filter.
We're explicit about categories we decline regardless of returns potential. We've passed on deals that would have been profitable but conflicted with our principles.
Principles only matter if they show up in real decisions. Here's how ours do.
